I am a Certified Grief Educator and am committed to providing the highest level of grief support through education, experience, and insights into the often unacknowledged rocky terrain of grief.

Another area of specialty is with persons struggling with eating disorders. The complex nature of eating disorders is best met with a holistic approach and willingness to collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and dietitians. I have worked extensively with these professionals. I believe full recovery is possible.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in this profession for over 14 years. My experience has been working with children, teens, and adults from different socioeconomic backgrounds and ethnicities. I feel passionate about providing support to help navigate imposter syndrome, first-generation challenges, stress management, work-life balance, and career issues. I have extensive experience working with clients facing grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and parenting. I specialize in providing culturally competent and solution-focused psychotherapy. I am also a certified yoga teacher and I implement yoga with my clients.

I offer individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults.  I also offer family therapy, one-on-one grief support, and parenting support.  My services are currently virtual but if you are open to services in nature we can meet in person.

As a compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I am deeply committed to supporting youth, adults with special needs, and those experiencing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. I currently provide family and individual consultations, workshops and support groups associated with grief and loss.  I provide most of my services virtually and am available to do home visits and work with individuals to locate space for requested workshops and support groups.  In addition to my work as a grief educator, I provide mental health counseling to adults struggling with anxiety, depression, job stress, grief and the impacts of traumatic events. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Compassion-Focused approaches in my work with individuals seeking therapy services.  I have extensive experience directing programs in community-based mental health settings. I  have an appreciation for the importance of providing care that considers the whole person and is culturally sensitive.
