I am a graduate of the Grief Educator Course (Spring 2024), a path I chose to support my own healing after the devastating loss of my only son, Hayden, and his girlfriend in 2019. This life-altering experience reshaped my world and set me on a deeply personal grief journey that continues to guide how I show up for myself and others on their grief journey.
Over the past six years, I have walked alongside grief, learning, healing, and growing through lived experience. My work is grounded not only in education, but in the profound understanding that comes from being a bereaved parent myself.
I am the founder and facilitator of the The Powell River Compassionate Friends, where I support parents and families navigating the unimaginable loss of a child. Creating a safe, compassionate space for connection and understanding has become an essential part of my purpose.
If you are grieving the loss of a child, and are looking for someone who truly understands someone who will listen without judgment and honor your story – I am here for you. You do not have to walk this path alone.
Please reach out when you’re ready.

Navigating our way through the addiction maze is like wandering alone through a desert with no water. It consumes us as it sucks the life right out of us—drains us of our time, our energy, our mental health, and quite possibly, our very lives. Even if we’re not the person with the addiction…an addiction can kill us.
Restoring our lives will come when we find the courage to face and identify our pain. Yes, the same pain that is tearing our hearts to pieces.
Each one of us has a choice: live our lives in anger and bitterness or simply, trust ourselves enough that we’ll guide our way through the maze.
ConNEXTion.me is a program that supports you, the family members of a person struggling with addiction. Whether that person is in active addiction, in recovery or has passed. Through one-on-one peer sessions, courses, circles, or hypnotherapy, you to use your own wisdom to find peace and redefine your relationship with your loved one.
