How to Find the Right Grief Certified Support
We suggest you start with a phone call. Let them know you found them through grief.com.
Ask them about their style.
Tell them briefly about you.
They may or you may ask to start with an initial meeting. In person is the best way to assess if you are a match.
Make sure you discuss fees, before you begin, so there is clarity.

You have permission to grieve the way you need to, at your own pace. Grief is not something you can rush through. David Kessler world-renowned grief expert, with decades of experience helping people navigate the challenges of grief shared the following statement with us during one of our classes, that brought me so much peace. I have this posted at work and at home, it’s my Grief Affirmation Statement when I feel sad. Yes, I feel sad sometimes, and it’s ok to feel sad, the sadness reminds me of the love.
“Grief is our mind revolving and replaying events and emotions of what our heart can’t erase. Time doesn’t heal all, because grief is not an illness, it is a new part of our journey in life. It is critical to allow yourself to grieve and experience the emotions and not run from them. We cannot run from grief, what we run from, pursues us and what we face transforms us. All your feelings may not go away, but the hope is that over time, you can grieve with more love than pain.”
