You’ve been through a lot. Maybe you’ve never told anyone your story; maybe you’ve only shared it with a select few. And you have heard that talking helps. But you wonder — how many times do I have to re-hash the discomfort before it releases me? How long before I can rest? You might be feeling numb, angry, sad, stuck, hopeless, scared… You may not have a clear direction, or any idea of your goals. You might not know where or how to start.
Yes, we all carry our past into the future, but the weight doesn’t have to be unbearable, and you don’t have to hold it alone. I aim to meet you where you are, shoulder some of the burden, and walk with you for as long as you’d like the company. My approach brings together a variety of perspectives on mental health in order to focus on your unique circumstances. I choose techniques and resources based on scientific evidence, as well as professional and personal experience (spoiler alert: even therapists have therapists). My clients have often lived through grief & loss, complex trauma, life transitions, anxiety & depression, and identity challenges. I welcome all for a chat, even if you’re not sure where to start.
