My clients come to me when they’re experiencing emotional and/or mental distress and just want the pain to stop…now. They are sleep-deprived (or the opposite), stressed over college, depressed about work, grieving a loved one, angry or indifferent to everyone, anxious, frustrated by everything! Their stomachs hurt and heads ache. The problems may stem from unmet needs (love, belonging, self-esteem), various issues (grief, anxiety, addiction, depression, trauma, chronic pain) or not meeting personal or life goals. While change can feel difficult and scary, you can learn powerful, safe ways through as you progress to becoming the person you truly want to be.
I use a neuroscience-based integrative approach based on the dynamics of mind, brain, body and spirit. I help people work through their negative thoughts, emotions and actions to achieve fulfillment and joy . I also teach clients tools to literally change the structure and functioning of their brains to positively transform thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
Who likes pain? It’s understandable to try to prevent or stop pain as soon as possible, right? While this may help when it’s physical, trying to prevent ourselves from feeling our emotional/mental pain generally backfires. I’d like to offer you a different way of becoming who and how you truly want to be. Ask yourself: “If not now, when?”
