We offer 2 programs for support of the person grieving the loss of a loved one from an overdose related death…
1. We offer a closed group…This is a group of 6-8 individuals that will move together through a 9 week course. The coarse was developed by Cornerstone of Hope in Independence, Ohio. This a grief center that offers counseling and support for all types of grief. This course covers loss, memories, trauma, coping mechanisms and support.
2. We also offer an open group…This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month and is less structured. Anyone who has suffered an overdose related death can stop in at any meeting. You can just drop in for support when you need it or attend every meeting. We will always try to cover a topic that relates to grief, healing, finding the new normal, understanding the difference ways that each of us grieve and many other topics. There will always be time to share any difficulties, milestones, or anything else you may want to share.
We offer 8 week supports groups and 7 week individual sessions. Contact us to see when our next group begins or to schedule your individual time to begin or further your healing process
