A chapter of The Compassionate Friends in central Texas. It is a mutual assistance self-help organization offering friendship, understanding, and hope for bereaved families who have experienced the death of a child, grandchild, or sibling. The death may have occurred at any time, at any age, from any cause. The monthly meetings give an opportunity to talk about feelings during the grieving process. Newsletters, Annual Candle Lighting Ceremony, on-line community also available. No membership dues.
This is an open group that meets every Tuesday from 9:30 -11:30. There is a psycho-educational component, as well as, a time to share and connect with others who are grieving.
We are a copywrited program that has been around since 1974, that assist the widowed, divorced and separated go through the grieving process based on Elizabeth Kubler Ross’s philosophy of the five stages of grief. We are a Catholic Ministry, however a nondenominational program. We have over 30+ teams in North America and various other teams located in American speaking countries, including but non limited to Australia, and Singapore. We also have programs for the children of these participants.

This is a general Grief Support Group, there are many categories of Grief. All are welcome No matter what you’re grieving from or over. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 6:30-8:00pm Starting in April 2018
This is a group facilitated by ordained Unity minister and Interfaith spiritual counselor and minister Rev. Deborah O’Connor. Anyone experiencing a major life transition, be it loss of a relationship due to death or divorce, a significant health challenge, loss of a job, a move to another city, etc., is welcome.
