I have lost many of my best buddies, mostly cats, through old age and illness, and still feel the emptiness. I want to help others who are going through these lonely times of intense grief, and can offer compassion and kindness to those going through this time in their lives.
Our Walk With Me ® Grief Support Group is facilitated by Tonya Ratliff, the Owner and Director of Trinity Family Counseling Center. Offered at no cost to the community, this group is designed to provide the attendee with an overview of the entire grief journey.
Tonya’s approach to the group is one fueled by unconditional compassion, as she assists those in attendance in coping with the anguishing adjustment to a life that has changed without my permission.

Grief and Loss: Together Finding Ways to Making Sense of it all
This is a support group to help people cope with the loss of a loved one. Losing someone we love truly hurts, leaving us with so many unanswered questions and a multitude of conflicting emotions. At first, we may turn to family and friends to share our grief; but as time goes on, we may find it difficult to reach out to them. It becomes difficult for them to understand our feelings.
The basis of the group is to allow individuals to share their experiences, feelings, emotions with others who are on the very same journey. In the sharing, often we discover new ways of coping and begin to discover new strength and hope.
