As an End-of-Life Doula, I will be there for you and your loved ones through the final months, weeks, and days of life. My services focus on the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients, their partners, friends, and families, and include bereavement support for children, teens, and adults. My training and skills provide compassionate, professional non-medical support as well as resources, education, and companionship as you accept and embrace dying as a period of life, not just an abrupt ending.

My name is Lise Coupal, and I am an ICF certified life coach and grief educator. I help individuals navigate the complexities of grief, the changes we face, and the pathways we choose in life. Trained by the internationally recognized grief expert and author, David Kessler, I offer a unique combination of grief support and life coaching. I can help you navigate the loss or anticipated loss of your loved one, move through your pain, and rebuild your life at your pace.

Clients partner with me in a safe and trusted space to support change within themselves or their lives, for the things that aren’t working for them any longer.  Often life presents us with unthinkable situations or moments that can leave us feeling stuck, grieving or in a place where we are unsure how to move forward.  What we have certainty about in these situations is we want to feel better and live more freely.

As a specialist in change, transformation and post traumatic growth , I welcome clients who are looking for a confidential, compassionate and judgement-free space to explore what is showing up most strongly for them, so they feel equipped and empowered to shift with confidence, toward what matters most to them, including a life filled with possibility and vitality.

When there is a safe space to explore, it becomes possible to begin, or start again from a place of understanding, strength, confidence, knowing and being – a place within ourselves that feels like home.

Services I offer:

As a certified and ICF accredited Life & Wellness Coach, certified Grief Educator, experienced  Therapeutic Parenting Coach and certified Emotional and Relational Intelligence Practitioner, I offer clients a wide breadth of coaching specialization that is trauma and grief-informed and transformative.   This includes and not limited to:  grief, loss, life transitions, career growth, new parenting, separation, divorce, blended family integration, life threatening illness, sudden death including suicide, parent loss, pregnancy loss, disrupted relationships including with children resulting from a difficult separation / divorce.

I offer online or in-person services in a 1:1 format and group coaching using an approach that includes dynamic, practical and evidence-based personal growth work for individuals and groups.

I provide compassionate support and coping skills to individuals going through loss and grief. Grief is a universal human experience about endings, not just death. There are many reasons why people grieve, including: loss of a job, a diagnosis, relationships ending, divorce, pet loss, death of a loved one and more.

I offer one-on-one grief coaching sessions virtually and globally. If you are local to Fairfield County, CT and would like to meet in person, I am happy to see you in my office.

Grief Education Workshops for groups are available and will be customized to client needs.
