Hello,

I am Karen, founder of Reset and Rise coaching.  I offer a welcoming, nourishing space where you can be heard, valued and understood. Together we can gently awaken and,  in time,  celebrate your life after loss.

I live near Edinburgh, Scotland and work both online and in person.  I work as a grief educator and coach, intertwining both approaches in response to where you are on your grief journey.

I’d love to help you in a 1:1 situation or as a part of a small group. 

Sessions are around 50 minutes and take place weekly over  a three month period.

I also offer a one off focussed session to work with you on a specific question or to allow you to explore this kind of support.

I am passionate about helping those who are trying to support people in grief and therefore include friends, family and work colleagues in my services, providing guidance and confidence around the unspoken and tricky landscape of grief.

My focus is in helping people through difficult situations. I remember times in my own life, dealing with grief or the challenges of having a child with special needs, feeling unsupported. I cannot promise that I have the answers or the right support, but I can promise that I will help you find a way.

My professional practice includes three disciplines that can work together or individually: grief coaching, life coaching, education advocate.

I believe deeply that our own body compass can help us find the way to realizing the life we are meant to live. Although I have encountered child loss, parent loss, job loss, relationship loss and many other hard situations, my experience will always be different than yours. But I am confident that my compassion and desire to help chart a path toward your north star will result in personal empowerment. Indeed, the answers lie within. Sometimes, we just need someone to help shine a light on the way.

About Me

I’m a Certified Grief Educator and Somatic Practitioner supporting individuals navigating grief, loss, and trauma.

My work is rooted in the understanding that grief not only lives in the mind, but also within the body and nervous system, shaping how we feel, respond, and move through daily life.

How I Support You

I offer one-on-one sessions where you’re able to talk about your experience while also working with how your grief is held in your body.

In our work together, we include the body and nervous system, allowing what’s been held to begin to shift and process in its own time.

This work supports you in adjusting to a new way of life, at your own pace, while also building capacity to be with your grief in a way that feels more manageable.

All sessions take place online via Zoom, so you can join from anywhere in the world, from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
