My work is rooted in the belief that grief changes us, but it doesn’t diminish our capacity for meaning, connection, or joy. I’ve learned, both personally and professionally, that joy and grief can coexist.

I work with individuals, families, teams, and organizations.

On Zoom, in boardrooms, conference venues, retreats, or at ranches alongside horses, I facilitate experiences that foster healing, personal growth, authentic leadership, and meaningful connection.

I also serve as an instructor and mentor coach at the Center for Equus Coaching and at the Martha Beck Wayfinder Coach Training, both of which are accredited ICF Level II Training programs.

Grief and loss have been among my greatest teachers. I was widowed at 23 and, by the age of 30, had lost my mother and all of my grandparents. Those experiences shaped not only my life, but also my calling. During the height of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, I spent a decade working in HIV/AIDS, interviewing research participants, facilitating support groups for women living with HIV, and bereavement groups for those grieving the loss of loved ones.

Along the way, I found love again, remarried, and built a business devoted to helping others grow through life’s challenges. Today, I live in San Diego with my husband, our calico cat, and four horses who partner with me in Equus Coaching. Every time I’m with them, they remind me to slow down, stay grounded, and be fully present.

I help people in grief take gentle steps towards creating health and well-being for themselves so they can move from stagnation to finding joy and purpose. By creating a foundation of well-being, people can find the focus and energy to begin to embrace life again even after their loss.

 I’ve created a collection of unique programs that promote emotional freedom through movement, ritual, and healing. My offerings include:

• The Emotional Tour: A somatic healing experience that blends African drumming with dance, providing a space to release emotions and connect with the soul.
• Sacred Silence: A journey into restful rituals through guided, silent, and moving meditation.
• Rest As Ritual: A sanctuary supporting the art of rest, treating rest as a sacred act.
• Sacred Rose Ceremony: An intimate ritual for receiving, witnessing, and celebrating your essence.
• What Wasn’t Said: A profound grief ritual to honor and heal emotions buried deep within.

I’ve trained over 100 facilitators to lead The Emotional Tour, spreading this transformative experience far and wide. My work invites individuals to embrace their emotional “messiness” and celebrate the full spectrum of their feelings. In a world that tells us to “keep it together,” I’m here to remind you that it’s okay not to be okay—and it’s essential to honor your truth.
