You wake up each day and it hits you again. You’ve entered a new reality: one you would do anything to escape. You’ve lost something or someone that made life make sense. Maybe you’ve experienced a difficult break-up. Lost a dream job. Maybe you’re struggling with your health. Or maybe someone you love has died. Either way, you don’t know where to go from here. The things that usually help aren’t available due to the pandemic. It doesn’t feel like the people in your life to whom you turn for support understand what you’re going through. Or you worry they have too much going on in their own lives.
I can help you learn to manage the overwhelming emotions coming at you each day. I’ll be there with you to unpack your grief, in the many ways it will show up. I’ll help you learn healthy ways to cope and care for yourself during grief, and together, we’ll explore what your new life, the life with grief, will look like.
Reaching out for help is hard and overwhelming. I offer a free, 15-minute consultation so we can get to know one another. I respond to emails and calls promptly (within one business day or less). Even if I’m not the best fit for you, I’ll do whatever I can to help you find the right counselor. You made it this far in your search for support: don’t give up.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with more than twenty seven years of counseling experience. I am committed to working with adolescents, adults and their families in achieving personal growth and maintaining emotionally balanced lifestyles. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders and behavioral concerns of adolescents and adults, using a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral therapy and expressive therapy techniques.
I recently completed the Grief Educator certification to better support clients who are experiencing grief, loss and trauma.
I focus on working with adolescents and adults with varying issues; most often around anxiety, OCD, stress management, emotional regulation and self-esteem. I also see clients with challenges in social relationships, behavior concerns, ADHD and changing families. I use art and creative therapy techniques as strategies for self-expression.
I particularly enjoy supporting adolescents in their launch to adulthood. I provide consultation to parents who are seeking strategies in parenting. More recently, I have developed a stronger practice focusing on supporting adults who are struggling with parenting concerns and managing their own anxiety regarding their child’s development and well-being.
