I am Laura, a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Grief Educator. I am a Bilingual/Bicultural therapist, with more than 9 years of experience in Mexico and LA. I am here to help you navigate loss and be with you during this complicated process.

I am committed to creating a safe, accepting environment to witness, acknowledge, and be present in your grief and loss experience. I have walked and continue to walk in the trenches of loss. My own personal experience and grief training combined with over thirty years of professional work, provide the basis of my capacity to be present for you.

Sessions provide time to express, find perspective and footing in your forever changed life. Trauma, PTSD, feelings of guilt and old emotional wounds often accompany grief. Over time our work together, based on safety, acceptance and understanding will support integration, deepened understanding, and inner strength to engage in life.

Camille Lloyd is a grief educator and registered social worker in Canada who specializes in providing grief services from a culturally responsive, trauma-informed lens. With extensive education and certifications in various therapeutic techniques, Camille is dedicated to supporting individuals through their grief journeys. Her approach is grounded in compassion  and understanding and meaning making, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for healing.

Camille specializes in  accumulative and collective grief support for those navigating intergenerational and legacy traumas, disenfranchised grief services for women experiencing perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause, and compassionate support for individuals who have lost loved ones to suicide, overdose, and other traumatic events. Through evidence-based therapeutic methods, Camille fosters resilience and facilitates meaningful healing journeys for her clients.

I work for the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society in Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada. In my role I am responsible for individual grief counselling, grief groups, and education for children and youth and their families as well as some individual counselling and groups with adults.
