Extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, I specialize in addressing trauma, grief, fertility issues, and relationship struggles. My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to meet your unique needs. I utilize various modalities, including EMDR therapy, IFS/Parts Work, Sandtray, Attachment, CBT/DBT, EFIT, Solution-Focused, and Psychodrama therapies. Each day presents a new opportunity to rewrite our stories, and I am here to support you in that journey. Hello! I am a Registered Psychologist in Alberta, Canada. I work with individuals struggling with substances, trauma, anxiety, and now grief! I am trained in CBT and IFS fundamentals and EMDR. I have been in the counselling field for about 10 years working in public sectors, such as treatment centers and mental health institutions. I now run my own private practice.

I provide individual therapy in the Washington, DC metro area.  I currently see most of my clients virtually and a small number of clients meet with me in person at various parks in the DC for 60 minute Walk & Talk session.

My typical client is a high achieving young professional (late 20s to late 30s) who may be challenged by life stage changes, anxiety, depression, (non-complex trauma), and grief/loss.  I am especially passionate about providing support to people who have or are currently experiencing ambiguous loss(es).

I also provide Living with Loss coaching. I offer coaching services to people who are bereaved and have already done some grief work (in therapy, support groups, or on their own) and would like to focus time and energy on accomplishing goals they feel grief has “gotten in the way of” them pursuing.
