I work for the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society in Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada. In my role I am responsible for individual grief counselling, grief groups, and education for children and youth and their families as well as some individual counselling and groups with adults.

As a licensed clinical professional counselor, I provide a compassionate and safe space for individuals navigating the emotional landscape of loss. Whether you’re mourning the death of a loved one, grieving a life transition, or processing ambiguous or anticipatory grief, I will walk alongside you with presence, patience, and care.

In our work together, we will honor your loss while exploring ways to rebuild meaning and connection. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Compassion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices, tailored to your unique experience and pace.

I also work with children and teens, supporting families through developmental and emotional challenges following loss.

I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist , a Certified Grief Educator, and a Certified EMDR Therapist specializing in traumatic grief. . I support individuals navigating loss and other life-altering events.  Recent losses and past traumatic events can leave you feeling off balance and disconnected from those you love. If trauma is complicating your grieving, EMDR may help. I am located in Sacramento, CA, but am also able to provide support virtually.
