My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that human beings are intrinsically good, able to heal, and to grow. Life is sometimes challenging and painful. By choosing to enter counseling you are taking the first step towards growth and moving through these challenges. I believe in a client centered approach acknowledging that you are the only one living in your body, mind, and spirit. My role is to help you navigate your internal process to a place where you feel more at peace.
I have worked in the helping professions since 1997 with experience in faith communities, hospital chaplaincy, addictions, and counseling. My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, first responders, veterans, dealing with chronic health issues, addictions, and the integration of psychology and spirituality.
