I do grief coaching with clients who have experienced loss. I have a special place in my heart for those who have suffered losses, because I know firsthand what it’s like to lose a loved one, having lost my precious 5-year-old daughter (Jackie) to an inoperable brain tumor. I know how extremely helpful a grief coach can be.

April Blake has worked in the field of alternative healing for 30 years as a certified massage therapist, grief counselor, biofeedback specialist, light therapist and stress reduction coach. She is a firm believer in the body’s innate ability for self-healing. Incorporating advanced stress reduction life-force enhancing healing modalities, combined with the healing power of light, sound, frequency and intuitive counseling for increased vitality, wellness enhancement, anti-aging, less stress, deeper relaxation, and a greater sense of balance and happiness and improved quality of life.

Growing up in a home with a lot of trauma, abuse and addiction I struggled to find meaning  and happiness in life.  After an early marriage with my then husband driving off a cliff and dying, I became even more disheartened.  I was able to finish college but ended up overdosing while shooting cocaine.  Thankfully, I was blessed to experience my heart stopping, leaving my body and going into the Divine Light, which changed my life direction from then on.  I had much growth ahead of me, but my doubt of God or questioning the meaning of life was gone.  That divine heart recognition has remained strong as well as  been greatly tested over the last 40 years.  The overall life theme for me has been finding deeper peace and acceptance of the ever changing cycles of life and death, grief and loss, and happiness and joy.  Death and dying has been ever present in my personal life and experience as well as in my professional healing work with others.  I am extremely grateful for the richness of my life and the ever growing capacity of the heart to hold it all.  Love endures and does not fade with the passing of time.

I am profoundly grateful for the work with David Kessler and his comprehensive program which has validated and supported me in being of greater service to others in their time of grief and loss.  As a quantum biofeedback specialist for over 18 years, I have incorporated the energetic signatures into a program for healing grief and loss along with other tools to support deeper peace and healing.  This is available for those who are interested or a simpler approach with grief coaching.  The program will soon be listed on my website.  I look forward to all those who resonate with me and my offering.
