GRIEF CERTIFIED PEER-TO-PEER
How to Find the Right Grief Certified Support
We suggest you start with a phone call. Let them know you found them through grief.com.
Ask them about their style.
Tell them briefly about you.
They may or you may ask to start with an initial meeting. In person is the best way to assess if you are a match.
Make sure you discuss fees, before you begin, so there is clarity.

Here is a little background information about me. I lost my beloved husband in October 2019 after a year long battle with cancer. We were together over 30 years. I’ve also experienced the grief from death by suicide with the deaths of my first husband and my son-in-law. I know firsthand the brutal pain of watching someone you love die a slow, agonizing death. I’ve been there with all the feelings of anger, guilt, remorse, etc. with both husbands’ deaths. I know the importance of good counseling or therapy. I know the value of just having someone walk beside you on your grief journey, to listen and witness your grief, and sit with you. I am so grateful I found David Kessler and Grief.com, and through completing his course, I have become a Grief Educator.
My goal is to reach out to others who are walking this path of grief, particularly in the area of losing a spouse through illness or suicide. I know that my surviving these particular deaths, along with the deaths of parents and siblings, has made me a stronger, more compassionate person. I want to help people in grief to know that there is still meaning to their lives and joy to be found in this world. I want them to know they still have a purpose in this earthly existence and help them find ways to honor their loved ones who have passed. I have the tools, the passion, and the desire to assist in bringing some healing to others on their grief journey.
I am available virtually, but I prefer in person meetings. I can be reached via email or by phone at this time.
