GRIEF CERTIFIED PEER-TO-PEER
How to Find the Right Grief Certified Support
We suggest you start with a phone call. Let them know you found them through grief.com.
Ask them about their style.
Tell them briefly about you.
They may or you may ask to start with an initial meeting. In person is the best way to assess if you are a match.
Make sure you discuss fees, before you begin, so there is clarity.

multiple losses ~ loss of a parent ~ loss of a sibling ~ sudden loss ~ traumatic loss ~ divorce
For most of my life I felt a calling to encourage and support others in their times of need.
In 2008, I tragically lost 9 close family members on Christmas Eve. My experience of multiple-family loss, grief, and healing transformed my life in many ways. It brought me to a place of trusting my inner wisdom and faith and believing that the love that bonded me to my loved ones who passed would actually be the love that would push me forward.
In 2021 I received my Grief Educator Certification from grief expert, David Kessler’s first GE class. It has been an honor to help and walk with people through their grief and healing journeys. My goal as a grief educator is to continue to offer the emotional support, resources, and guidance to those in search of encouragement, hope and healing through the bereavement process.

When I lost my son, Joel, in 2017 to complications due to heroin/meth addiction, I entered a time of deep depression and utter hopelessness. When others tried to offer well-meaning support, they often tried to connect me with “their friend who lost their son in a car accident” or “someone whose child died after a tragic bout with cancer.”
It’s not the same.
There is a stigma associated with deaths of this kind and the judgment that says, “they did this to themselves” or a tendency to blame those who loved them. Those of us who have experienced this kind of loss understand there is no one-size-fits-all to working through grief.
Personalized Grief Support – Scheduled by you, on your timeline.
Some people prefer weekly “touchpoint” sessions, while for others, this is too much, too soon. You schedule your appointment via my personalized calendar. We will meet either by Zoom or, as many prefer, simply by phone.
